The explanation is that the movie "Pearl Harbor" entered Thailand last month and the theatre/shopping center wanted to promote it. They wanted a massive diorama to be shown in front of the theatre, and "Art Instructor" (the guy in red shirt) was called for the job. As for the compensation, "Art Instructor" is presenting a story on what he did - a 2 x 2.6 m diorama "Pearl Harbor"
